It's been about three years since I started writing fanfiction, and I decided to update my little description blurb; the other one was beginning to make me question my manhood. I'm 18 years old now, and I'm a freshman at Colgate University. It's in Hamilton, NY, so if you're ever in Binghamton, Utica, or Syracuse, you're very near where I am. Feel free to drop by.
On a side note, I write editorials for RPGamer under the alias of Wisdom, so if any of you frequent that website, that sarcastic bastard who shows up every other update is me.
I won't bore you with any more. Drop me a line with your thoughts on my fanfiction any time. Until then, take care.

Seclusion-
I guess this section is for clarification and justification, so I'll just
dive right in. First off, this is a story about a character that alot of
people write about: Kain. However, it doesn't just give him a new adventure
or play out like some "This is how it should have gone" deal... this is a
story about Kain before, during, and after the storyline of Final Fantasy
IV. I say IV because II is incomplete- in II, there is virtually NO background
surrounding Kain. In IV, there is precious little, but also, IV paints the
picture of the story with a slight sexual undertone. A great deal of this
story is consumed by this sexual undertone- not for kicks or fun, (all you
perverts beware, there are no "scenes"), but because I'm amplifying on something
I think could have very well happened during the course of Final Fantasy
IV, and its effects on Kain. Also, I will be the first to admit it is a stretch-
this is all from my imagination, and in essence, I am creating Kain from
the emotions displayed in Final Fantasy IV. I ask one thing of the reader-
when reading, do not judge the story on how *you* think Kain should have
been- I do NOT display him as a hero in this story. If you wanted Kain to
be the ultimate warrior for light, I'm sorry, but read no further, because
in this story, he simply is not. He is, however, starkly human (emotionally
speaking), and I think that if you approach this with an open mind, you'll
come to appreciate that quality in him. Please consider all of his actions
before you judge him as a person- even though he is only an imaginary character,
I strove to make him as real as possible, and therefore I hope that the person
I tried to create doesn't come off as someone completely different. Enjoy,
because I know I did.

Final Fantasy VII:
Redemption- As time goes by, I am finding myself drawn to write fanfiction
merely because I'm not satisfied with how other writers portray their characters.
Not to sound arrogant by any means, as it's not a battle for superiority
I wage, I get the urge to show some characters in a completely different
view, or in a view I personally found more appropriate. I suppose that was
the inspiration for this story, because I didn't feel anyone portrayed Vincent
as he really was. The memory sequences Vincent has during the course of Final
Fantasy VII, and the taciturn nature he displays during the course of the
game, led me to create a personality for him that strongly resembles that
of the fallen hero. That's also why this story is called Redemption, so as
to dispel the fascination most people have with evil and make Vincent whole.
My choice of secondary characters, well, actually, the secondary character,
Yuffie, is because they are the polar opposites in the game. Whereas Vincent
was wholly withdrawn and foreboding, Yuffie is extremely outspoken and therefore
largely unintimidating. I found it difficult to take her seriously at almost
any point in the game. As a duo, though, interesting conflicts arise, and
I figured I'd take a chance and try something new. Personally, I'm strangely
pleased by the results. Enjoy the story.

Final Fantasy VII:
Dichotomies- This is a pretty short piece I wrote one night, after
watching Aeriss death. I found it remarkable how well Square animated
Clouds face for this scene, and I tried to write down everything I
thought I saw. Ive always thought of Cloud as a very special character,
so I dont know if Im entirely satisfied with this piecethen
again, thats a recurring theme with my literature nowadays. But, I
did enjoy writing it. Hope you dig reading it.
