The Sentinel- Six months after the heroes of time completed their adventure, winter begins to settle in the kingdom of Guardia. Marle has been busy at the castle and has not seen her friends Crono and Lucca for months, but the friends are finally reunited at a dinner hosted by the royal family. Then, mysteriously, Marle falls ill, and the plans the three companions had for her winter break are unfortunately canceled.
Marle's sudden illness does not go unnoticed by the rest of the kingdom - rumor begins that the Princess of Guardia has been poisoned, supposedly by council members from either Porre or Choras, who were present at the dinner. As the two nations ruthlessly point the blame on each other, Marle's illness gets worse, and Crono and Lucca are faced with two problems - finding a cure to stop Marle's rapidly weakening condition, and restoring the unity of Porre, Choras, and Guardia.
Will the clash between the nations embed itself too far into the hearts of
the people, irreversibly separating Porre and Choras? Will Marle succumb
to the same fate as her mother, perishing of illness? In a story that delves
into the minds of Marle and Lucca, and the profound heart of quiet, mysterious
Crono, the companions come to recognize that one last miracle must
occur…before their world is changed forever.

Doom of Guardia: The Great Fire- I guess you could classify this
as a Chrono Trigger fanfic, since it tells about the characters. This is
my theory of how Marle, Lucca, and Crono died. It's a short story, but I
think a lot gets said here. Also, its purpose isn't only to shed light on
what happened to the Chrono Trigger world, but explain some of my future
fan art as well. Hope you like it.
