In an age where all seems to stand still...
The Guru of Time seemed to fall forever, as if he were descending into a bottomless pit.
When he realized he had finally stopped, he took a moment to catch his breath.
A...timegate...made by Lavos, he thought.
He stared out into the darkness. "Th, this is..." He suddenly realized he had literally landed in the middle of nowhere.
"Hey," he said, turning around, calming his senses. "Nothing here..."
He squinted through the fog. "This must be..." His eyes widened in surprise. "...the End of Time..."
He shivered as the cool, thick fog settled over him. He let out a sigh, wondering what he was going to do now. He was stuck in a timeless era, all alone, completely unprepared for this new place.
Just then, something caught his eye. He glanced off to the right, seeing a bright pillar of light in the distance.
What is that? he wondered. Sh-should I go there?
Then, after a long struggle with his mind regarding the decision, he reluctantly started towards the light.....
