Don't You Look At
Me Like That- First of all, a big thank you to the Icy Committee for
approving my little fic - I am really proud!
Secondly, it's sometimes interesting to know how a fic came into being, so here is the story of this one.
Ever since I played FF8 I have been fascinated by what happened between Seifer and Rinoa during the summer before the game begins. I did read some fics which made reference to it, but many of them were quite hard on Seifer. As I am a Seifer fan, I decided to write a fic from his point of view which showed him in a better light.
I thought a songfic would be a nice way of approaching this. Listening to the 'Lost and Found' album one day, I suddenly realised that 'Don't you look at me like that' perfectly conveyed the feelings I was trying to get across.
I banged the first version of this out in about an hour and posted it at ff.net. When I thought about posting it here, I read through the 'tips' section first, and realised that the fic just didn't have enough detail, so I expanded it, refined it and generally improved it!
