Legend of Mana Fanfiction
Legend of the Jumi- This is a story that is exclusively based on the Jumi storyline from the Square game Legend of Mana. I planned the outline about a year ago (July 2000, when I first played LoM), but I only begun to work on it in July 2001.

The story takes great liberties with the original storyline. This was done because I wished to use the potential of the Jumi story from Legend of Mana-- my favorite storyline of the three main storylines used-- to create something that is as whole as possible, but likewise omits and changes the parts that I didn't like about it. August, 2001 note: In fact, the story has emerged as a curious hybrid between a direct re-write/novelization and an alternate reality story. It's neither one or the other, but employs elements of both.

Those who actually played the game will find very few things a mystery here, but will still probably will find a twist here and there in the things I changed. Those who haven't played the game will find this story a huge spoiler (especially since I don't even bother to conceal a few things that are plot twists/mysteries in the original story, such as Pearl's past), but they CAN read this story independently of the game, without playing it first.
