Summary: This is my very first Vagrant Story fic and it centers around the past of my favorite character, John Hardin. Not much is known about his past, save that one tiny bit of dialogue in the game where Callo finds out. This fic is based on that dialogue. I hope you enjoy it. I enjoyed writing this one immensely. Some people may say that Hardin is noble by blood. I took a different point of view on that. I don't own basically anything you recognize. Some of the characters, like Alex, are original. And the place names, I pulled from a land I've concocted for an original set of stories I'm writing.
