The main key is getting the right bit to lower its defense. This can be done by killing the left bit. After the left bit is destroyed, the right bit's defense will be down. Once its defense is down, concentrate all attacks on the right bit. Even if the left bit is revived, just keep attacking the right bit until its defense is restored. Just keep doing this and you should win. On a minor note: If the Lavos Core and left bit are still alive when you defeat the right bit, they'll be going 'Bye-Bye' too! Trust me. I got crazy one day and decided to start a new file {under New Game +} and go through the whole game with the weakest weapons, and fighting only the main part of the bosses. For example; the Guardian in Arris Dome, I just ignored the bits and went right for the main part. Giga Gaia; I just attacked the head. Ozzie; I attacked him every I got, and I wasted him. Azala and the Black Tyrano; just attack the Tyrano. All of this works when fighting against the first phase of Lavos. Against the Lavos Core; just attack the right bit. This is all true, and I didn't use ANY techs fighting them. P.S.--It really stinks when you just attack the right bit while its defense is still up, but I beat him. Well, for all of you guys that like challenges, try all of this. Good luck, and happy hunting! |
