Final Fantasy 7

Final Fantasy 7

Producers: Squaresoft
Genre: RPG

Final Fantasy VII is completely flawless. There is nothing wrong with this game. Not one little thing, except maybe the graphics. Final Fantasy VII is 1997 Game of the Year with no doubt. If anyone does not give this game a 10, they are simply crazy. This game should not fall short of anyone's expectations. You asked SquareSoft for a great RPG and they deliver...with THIS MASTERPIECE. The storyline is unbelievable. There are so many twists and turns it's like you are on a rollercoaster watching the plot. The Replay Value is very high, because you should see the amount of secrets in this game!!! Simply everything, EVERYTHING, about this game is perfect.

Storyline 10/10

If I could give this story above a 10, I would! It's got to be the best storyline so far in the Final Fantasy Series. You are Cloud, a mercenary, who has just been hired by AVALANCHE, a rebel group trying to save the world, to blow up Shinra Reactor No. 1. That is just the beginning. This game gets even more bigger than that. It starts out as a small rebel group against a mega-conglomerate company called Shinra, but expands to a fight against an unstoppable villian who is named, Sephiroth. There is so much action to follow up this plot, it will ACTUALLY keep you on the edge of your seat as you play!

Graphics 9/10

OK, so the characters in the game don't look so good. There is a whole lotta draw-in, (the characters walk through each other), and Square used very ugly polygons on the characters. But, the backgrounds are breathtaking. They look so realistic it is like you are right there, with Cloud!

Sound/Music 10/10

The music is composed and written beautifully, the music becomes intense during action scenes and soft and beautiful during "love" dialogue scenes. Awww.... :) The Sound F/X are great too! Everything sounds and looks great in this game!

Controls 10/10

The controls are easy to use and responsive. I found no problem using the controls or the Materia system. Well, I had trouble with the Materia system, but they give you a very good explaination on how to use it in the game.

Replay Value 10/10

Of course you will be coming back for more! Final Fantasy VII has loads and loads of secrets for you to uncover that you can't possibly beat this whole game with everything in under 100 hours. In fact, that's practically impossible. It'll probably take you more like 350 hours to do that! So if you like games that you play over and over again, this will defintely not be a forgotten game. You probably won't even sleep knowing that you didn't get everything possible in Final Fantasy VII.

Overall 10/10

This game is perfect! Perfect, perfect, perfect! It's a very well-built RPG and every Final Fantasy fan must have this masterpiece in their collection...and at the very front of their collection!
