To give you an idea of who I am, I'll start by saying that I'm a full-time college student with a part-time job and precious little time to write. Very few of my fanfics are currently floating around the web; half of those I'm still trying to hunt down and destroy (look, the stuff I wrote four years ago could give a reader brain damage. It's my civic duty to make sure that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands). My tastes in writing are rather off-beat, and I tend to write stories based on "what-if" scenarios-- you know, the sort of random musings that pop into your head after midnight.
I'm currently working on a Final Fantasy VI fic (almost done!), a really long Dragon Warrior IV fic (nowhere near done...), a Shadowgate fic (anyone remember that game?), and a Final Fantasy I fic that's going to end up in my Mac's trash can if I can't improve it in a hurry. I'm also polishing up a bit of Xenogears insanity that looked a lot better when I first finished writing it.
I don't have a web page (blame my lack of free time), but I do love to get criticism through e-mail. Really. I'm tough. You can be brutally honest about anything I write, and I'll love you for it.
...And that's all I've got to say for now.
Final Fantasy VI Fanfiction
Is Golden- This
is an introspective piece of which I am extremely proud. In it, two characters
have a brief discussion of what went wrong.

Final Fantasy VII Fanfiction
The Aeneas Factor-
Wow, I wrote this over a year ago and I still like it! That's unusual for
me. :) Anyway, I wrote this story to touch on a character whom very few people
seem to write about-- Final Fantasy VII's Rufus Shinra. I also wanted to
try my hand at a "darker" type of fanfic...

Martyr- A very...
different look at Aeris's personality and motivations.

Shadowgate Fanfiction
Cheers- Okay,
Shadowgate fans: Is the "You have died" screen still what you remember best
about the game? If it is, take it as evidence of the care that the game designers
put into making sure that virtually anything you could interact with could
kill you, usually in a very creative and painful way. Sure, you sometimes
didn't get enough clues to solve a puzzle by anything but trial-and-error,
but you always got detailed descriptions of how your character met his end.
And that's what counts, right? (Hint: For the purposes of this fic, the correct
answer is "Hell, yeah!")
Accuracy alert: I altered a few details of the puzzles for the sake of the plot. Nothing major. (For instance, the first key now unlocks the entrance instead of the first door inside the entryway.) I also eliminated the need for torches. As much fun as it would have been to make my protagonist stumble around in the dark until something ate him, I couldn't stomach the thought of writing them in through the entire story.
And that said, let the insanity run free. Enjoy.

Xenogears Fanfiction
Alice's Looking
Glass- I'm not quite sure how to explain this one, except to say that
it's a stream-of-consciousness piece written for one of the more obscure
characters of Xenogears. Enjoy, and keep in mind that I'm not always this
crazy. =P
