Super Dunk

Super Dunk takes a while to master, but if/when you do, it is a great way to earn GP. Basically, it's as easy as this: when you make a basket, you get a GP and another shot. When you've made 10 baskets, you can wager all of what you've won to double it, or go back down to 1 GP. Once you reach 300 GP, the machine runs out. One strategy to use is to wait about half a second after Cloud stops his shooting motion, then shoot. For 200 Gil, this is a good way to get GP if you're good at it. Otherwise, stick with Chocobo racing.

Arm Wrestling

This is a really simple game that you can win easily if you have a quick trigger finger, or a rapid-fire controller. It costs 100 GP to play, you get 1 GP for winning at Sumo level, and 2 GP for winning at Wrestler level.

Here's a cool trick from the Final Fantasy VII Ultimate Guide By Versus Books: If you have a rapid-fire controller, and just want some free GP, put the O button on auto fire (if it doesn't have this setting, put it on rapid fire and wrap a rubber band around your controller or something to hold it down). Then turn Cloud around so he's facing the Arm Wrestling machine, and put something heavy on the D-pad so he'll keep facing that way. He'll keep playing the game, and you'll rack up a couple hundred GP per hour you leave it that way.
