Cidolfus Orlandu A.K.A. T.G. Cid
The famous Thunder God Cid is the 61 year old undefeated leader of the Nanten Knights whose record during the Fifty Year War was only equaled by Balbanes and Zalbag. He joins you after you and his adopted son Olan free him from Bethla Garrison for planning a rebellion against Prince Goltana. He is the most powerful fighter your party can get, with maxed out stats and the best armor and one of the rarest swords you can get. His sword, Excalibur, gives him Haste all the time, which gives you even more of an opportunity to destroy your enemy with his powerful attacks. His Swordskills (which require a Sword or Knight Sword to execute) are extremely useful, as he can use the same ones as Agrias, Meliadoul, and Gafgarion, only with much more power. Due to their cost, make sure to get the Gained JP Up Support Skill right away. Once Orlandu has joined you, keep him in your party as much as you can.
