This isn't much of a comprehensive bio; the people who need to know my life story generally hear it straight from my mouth. But, at a glance, this is me.

My name is Justn Purdy, current resident of northern Mississippi and newly departed from my teenage years. I'm a writer who is as of yet unpublished, as well as a million other things. I'm something of an insomniac, and spend much of my time on this box messing around or working on some new project.

I was a student at the University of Mississippi until May of 2003. Now I'm taking some time off to find myself and learn to stand on my own; hoping the Air Force - by the time you read this, it's likely I'll be on active duty - will help me there. I shall return eventually, probably to pick up a degree in something like philosophy or creative writing. In the meantime, I've got some fanfics here for ya, which tend to get uploaded at a snail's pace but are HOPEFULLY worth the wait. Most notable is my complete Xenogears fanfic, which is part of the World of Imagination (a "fanverse" of authors also including popular fic authors Cain and Mox Jet). So, check that out.

An Ending- Well, maybe I wasn't entirely honest when I said I wouldn't do one of those "Search for Schala" fics. However, this one is still a bit original, for I don't believe in fakey happy endings. Happy endings are much harder to come by, as the Magus will soon learn...

Shiro Trigger by Nightsong and Lynxfire - I, like I so often do, feel that an explanation of this story is in order. You see, it has long puzzled me that we never discovered who the “Entity” of Chrono Trigger was. Obviously, if he created most of the gates, he was something beyond human comprehension, but was he always that way? If, as Lucca said, he was trying to relive his life, would he have had to originally have to be present? I believe (no matter how complicated the last sentence may be) that this is the case. This raises another question: if the “entity” was present for the said events, how could Crono and company be living them without him being present? I, along with my good friend Technoprophet, do believe that we have found the answer. Thus do we tell the tale of Zachary Shiro, brave warrior of the year 1700 A.D, and inventor of the Terapod. What’s a Terapod? You’ll soon find out…

So, without further ado, I bid you to read on into the life story of Zach Shiro. Some events you read hear will be very familiar, while others will be something entirely new. Expect the unexpected. That’s usually wise advice when dealing with the true hero of time.

Ruin- A brief note before you begin; as I've been playing through Final Fantasy 6 yet AGAIN, I've come across several scenes that I really wanted to explore in-depth for their full emotive value. This is the first - fittingly, as this scene was, to me, one of the most powerful moments in this game, and really, one of the most powerful in RPGs in general - in what I hope will be a series of such shorts about various characters. In these, I opted not to stick to the original scripts, given the rather... interesting quality of the translation, and perhaps a few scenes have been altered in minor ways for timing and realism.
