Jerm

Welcome. I'm no longer 20 years old, and in fact I'll just forgo mentioning age since it keeps changing too quickly for me to keep up anymore. In other news, I also don't look 18 now, so I've changed the picture to the fuzzy red-eyed thing you see above. Yeah.

It's been almost three years since I updated the thing, and over five since I even started it, but Culminations is going again. Updating on my own page, I've pretty much reorganized and redid it. You'll notice the twelve chapters have now turned into ten (currently). The original twelve are now what makes up the first six. Also they've been fixed up and redone a bit, though starting out it seems the same. The further you go along the more the changes become noticeable. All together, the thing is over 200k already, so I felt it was a good point to resubmit. Considering the hiatus and such. Hopefully I'll have the next batch ready before these become stagnant like the last ones did.

Chrono Trigger Dimensions- It is two years after the defeat of Lavos. His gates have disappeared and the Epoch was smashed in its collision with the monster. Time travel is a "thing of the past". But now in the present, Lucca has finished her latest invention, 'The Gatekeeper' which can temporarily create gates to any time.

However, the gatekeeper doesn't only open rifts in the 4th dimension of time. A hole in the 5th dimension has opened; bridging Lucca's universe with another entirely different.

And something has escaped.

A sorcerer banished during the time of Zeal has returned, plotting revenge on those that exiled him. But what starts as a simple plot for revenge, becomes something much more.

Something the world--past, present, or future--could not possibly survive...

The Making Of Chrono Trigger Dimensions - August 9th, 1998

Chrono Trigger Invasions- Nikades is dead. As the god was born, Lucca was able to use a device that reversed Nikades' spell; ceasing the dark god's existance. But doing so at an irreversible cost.

Returning to Lucca's home, Cid finds her legacy. Books hidden away that document her life and her thoughts. In these books, Cid discovers startling facts that bring the rest of the group back. These are facts about their magical heritage.

However, strange omens have been appearing in the skies. New stars are suddenly visible at night. Not just in the present, but in the past and future as well. They seem to hold ill omens for those that see them.

Also, the shadows, now identified as spectres, are biding their time in the background. Taking other worlds instead, they seem to be building up for Earth. Revenge is on their minds.

Let the invasions begin....

In the aftermath of the carnage, the survivors go their own ways to attempt to rebuild and make sense of this world. Cid embarks on a quest given to him by Marshall. Schala searches for the resting place of her brother. Secrets about the Masamune and its opposite are being delved into by others. And amidst it all, the world is rebuilding.

But all is not right. The lack of Mura and Same is causing an unbalance in the world, in all the worlds. Soon, those that have taken quests will find that their paths will once again cross and that something has been guiding them, positioning them for a final confrontation that will determine once and for all what is to become of a damaged time frame and the worlds trapped within.

Be it salvation or damnation...

Chrono Trigger: The Mistake- The Moonlight Parade and Millenium Fair. For some, it is not only a celebration of the coming of the next millenium, but a celebration of a vicotyr over Lavos. They have defeated the ancient evil, the world is returned to peace.

But sometimes bad things come from good intentions.

Instead of closing, the gates are becoming erratic. The group quickly reunites to discover what is happening. It is unexplainable, the gates should have shut with Lavos's defeat.

But they have not.

Now something is going wrong. A small mistake made with good intentions will cause the world to face something much more terrible than Lavos.

And this time, there is no escape....

Interminable Hope- Emotions. We express the good, hide the bad. Despite the fact that, in the end, storing and containing that which gives us pain will merely create more pain, we still do this. We eventually allow this to overwhelm us and we give in to death.

Sometimes, the best way to defeat this is to have hope, something to believe in. For with these believes, we can find ways to express our sadness, to remove the pain. Through hope and faith can we manage to survive the darker side of the human mind.

Through hope we can find the good half of life. Through perseverance we can find the meaning of life.

And through both, we can find our Utopia.
